I'll start with the EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel - a hotel that perfectly fits my request. Location, dining, pools, even the spa - everything needed for both a business trip and relaxation.

There are two here – this fact alone has completely captivated me. An open-air scenic pool on the roof – what more do you need to relax while my husband is in meetings? Perhaps just the second – an indoor pool located in the hotel's own spa complex. It’s not very large – 14 m, but heated. The spa is impressive – 1700 sq. m of tranquility, silence, and comfort. Next to the pool are comfortable loungers, there’s a sauna, steam bath, and an ice fountain to cool down. A total of 7 spa treatment rooms and 1 for couples' spa – maybe I can persuade my husband to go for a program together? If I suddenly feel like being active, I'll head to the gym – the reviews about it are excellent.

Perfect for our purposes. The Marquês de Pombal metro station is just 700 m away. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the Bairro Alto area, where my husband has meetings. Plus, very close to the EPIC SANA Lisboa Hotel is the famous Amoreiras shopping center, so I certainly won’t be bored.

Many reviews mention the impressive level of service – I love the individual approach to clients. The rooms in the hotel are elegant, with an incredible view of the river and the city. The hotel has two bars. One of them, Scale, is located in the lobby and has its own terrace where delicious afternoon tea is served. On the roof – right next to the outdoor pool – is the Up Scale bar. Outsiders are not allowed there – only hotel guests can enjoy the signature drinks and stunning views. Finally, the Flor-De-Lis restaurant is especially praised for its brunches. They are considered some of the best in the city – I definitely need to try them.

An amazing combination of high service level and privacy. A boutique hotel close to tourist attractions, but with its own garden and pool. I love places like this!

Valverde Lisboa - Relais & Chateaux attracts not only with its designer decor of the rooms but also with its beautiful heated pool. It is located in the hotel's own garden. Cozy loungers hide in the shade of the trees – even in the photos, you can see how relaxed and comfortable the atmosphere is at this place. The hotel also has its own gym – it's quite possible that after swimming in the warm pool, I will go there to work out.

The very center – just 1 kilometer from the famous Rossio Square. I love when I can stroll through historical landmarks without being tied to transport. Nearby is the Castle of São Jorge, the Commerce Square, the National Theatre of Dona Maria II. Even if my husband has late meetings, we will still be able to admire the center of Lisbon – with such a location of the hotel!

The hotel rooms are undoubtedly impressive – they are styled and beautifully decorated. The hotel has its own restaurant – guests praise it highly. There is also a bar, room service, and private parking. We will definitely need a 24-hour front desk – we often arrive somewhere at night. And the garden – I love greenery, relaxing and working outdoors.

I think Valverde Lisboa - Relais & Chateaux is perfect for both a vacation and a business trip.

I love hotels where the common spaces are tastefully designed. This is especially true for spas and pools. Often, they look similar to each other, but not at the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa, where the sun loungers are shaped like boats – so unusual and stylish! And the hotel itself is luxurious – I have read so many enthusiastic reviews about it!
